Hi there!
👋
I’m Siobhan, a freelance Product Designer based in London.
I’m driven by understanding how users interact with a product and how different psychology principles influence human behaviour.
What part of the journey do I do?
Discovery
The discovery process comprises of investigating the problem area, framing the problem(s) to be solved, and accumulating sufficient information and direction on how to move forward. This is conducted through competitor analysis, market research and interviews.
- Vision/Goals
- Competitor analysis
- Market analysis
- Interviews
- Documented output
Analysis
The value proposition is established at this stage. Personas are created to depict the goals and behaviours of the target user groups, this helps us understand the current journey and pain points before deep diving into the new experience. Through experience mapping we can then create the new experience and requirements for the ‘To Be’ solution.

- Backlog definition
- User stories

Mapping / Design
Scenario mapping is undertaken to determine what actions a user can or will take in order to accomplish a goal. Each journey will then be mapped out and validated. A site map/flow will be generated to provide an overview of the structure. Low fidelity prototypes for key journeys, will be tested and validated with customers and key stakeholders.
